The Art Of Textured Wedding Rings

The Art Of Textured Wedding Rings

If you don't want a plain wedding ring, adding a texture is a great way to personalise your ring and make it more modern and unusual.

These wedding rings are the same width, the same profile, the same depth but they all have a different surface texture. The choice of texture really changes how a design looks. Add to this the option to have different widths, different profiles and different depths, to add engraving or gemstones and you soon discover designing your own wedding ring is all about making choices. Choices that will result in something just right for you.

The top ring has a bark finish.

The two below have a faceted finish.

The top faceted ring is matt finished and the one below it is polished. The polish finish adds sparkle, reflecting light at different angles with no need to have gemstones. The matt finish gives this ring a traditional hammered rustic feel.

The gold ring is sparkle finished.

To create this texture, a wheel of metal pins rip into the surface resulting in a glitter effect.

The ring below the sparkle finish texture is satin finished.

It has lines that follow around the band in the same horizontal direction

The bottom finish is frosted.

It has a glow similar to the surface of a pearl.

In our studio, we have samples of these rings and different widths and profiles for you to try on and see what looks best on you.
