A Princess Cut Problem Solved - Remodelling An Engagement Ring

My customer had a diamond engagement ring with four small princess cut diamonds set to look like a larger square. This was a popular design sold by other large jewellery retailers but the problem is the stones are grooved to slot into each other and once they are damaged, the retailers won't fix them. This left her with an unwearable ring. 

My customer really liked her original design so we sourced a two carat lab diamond and remade a new, high quality ring with her original diamonds set in the shoulders. The sparkle from this ring is incredible due to the exceptional quality of the cut. Lab diamonds are a really great affordable way to get a large gemstone that will last forever instead of a ring design that uses small stones disguised to look like a larger diamond.
