A Promise That Lasts Forever - Remodelling Two Rings With Special Meaning

This is a really romantic jewellery remodelling commission. 

My customer has been married for many years and wanted to bring together two important rings to make one new modern design that she could wear every day. One was her original engagement ring and the other was a ring her husband bought for her for her 21st birthday. 

I think having a relationship over decades is so special because you share your important experiences and memories together. It feels like you have someone who confirms that those things really did happen and you feel like someone truly knows all there is to know about you. It's not something you can buy but something you have to build with patience, love and commitment. Joining these two rings unites the first steps in their relationship with the transformation of it into a lasting loving bond that lives on today. 

These are the rings that I started with. 

I created a new modern design that is asymmetric but it has classical style with art deco curves. The largest diamond sits on the left hand side of the design and the marquise sapphires are spaced out with the small round brilliant cut diamonds in a undulating line that is elegant and graceful. It's unique, special and timeless.
